Drawing from his own healing journey, Tyler brings a grounded, heart-centered approach to movement rooted in presence, healing, and joy. He completed his 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Bhakti Yoga in India and holds a bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, with over a decade of experience emphasizing form, alignment, and injury prevention.

He is also certified in AcroYoga and Thai Massage, which he weaves into his teaching through connection, trust, and therapeutic touch. Tyler shares yoga as more than a physical practice, inviting students to build resilience, explore play, and reconnect with their bodies. Tyler teaches a range of styles from warm and hot power vinyasa, to restorative and AcroYoga, creating supportive spaces for students to move, breathe, and grow in community.

Samantha Dungca is a 500+ hour certified yoga teacher, retreat facilitator, and healing guide devoted to supporting others on their path of healing, embodiment, and self-discovery. With training in Power Yoga, 7 Doorways Yoga, trauma-informed yin yoga, meditation, pranayama, and Reiki, she blends yoga, somatic practices, and mindfulness to create spaces for deep presence, nervous system regulation, and inner reconnection. Her work is rooted in the belief that we are all our own healers, and through retreats and immersive experiences, she invites participants to slow down, reconnect with their innate wisdom, and cultivate compassion, service, and meaningful connection with both themselves and the world around them.

Sam Fuller, founder of Sound of a Smile, first traveled to Kurland Village, South Africa in January 2014 through a service-learning program at Southern New Hampshire University after being inspired by his close friend Nick Carey, who had participated the year before. The 10-day experience profoundly impacted both of them, and they often spoke about returning to continue the work they had started. When Nick passed away unexpectedly in 2016, Sam grew close with Nick’s family and organized a trip back to South Africa in February 2018 with Nick’s family, childhood friends, and loved ones to honor his dream. During that journey, Sam realized the work needed to continue beyond a single visit. He has returned every year since, founding Sound of a Smile to create lasting, sustainable impact in Kurland Village while carrying forward Nick’s vision. Today, Sam leads the organization’s volunteer programs in South Africa and serves as the primary community facilitator for SOAS.
